South Carolina HVAC license

The South Carolina HVAC License (Air Conditioning) includes the installation, replacement, alteration, and repair of air conditioning equipment and systems which consist of a number of components necessary to produce conditioned air for environmental heating or cooling, or both, within buildings. Hot water or steam heating systems or components are not included under this classification.

South Carolina HVAC License Exam Content Outline

There are 80 questions in the South Carolina HVAC license examination. You will need to answer 56 questions correctly in order to pass. You are allowed 4 hours to complete this examination.

Note: All Air Conditioning – Commercial Contractor candidates are required to pass the Business Management and Law for contractors examination and the Air Conditioning examination. That content is included in this class.
