Residential South Carolina Electrical License

The Residential South Carolina Electrical License course covers everything you’ll need to pass the exam.

The South Carolina Electrical License is a specialty license, issued to an individual, not a business entity, for anyone engaging in residential electrical work over $200, on residential buildings that are sixteen units or less, and do not exceed 3 stories. This license limits the individual to $5,000 per residential project, unless a surety bond of at least $10,000 is obtained from the Commission. Once bonded, there is no dollar limit put on the residential specialty contractor for work performed.
