Pipeline Contractor License

A Pipeline Contractor license allows professionals to install, maintain, and repair pipelines for the transportation of liquids, gases, and other substances. This includes work on water, sewer, gas, and oil pipelines, as well as related components such as pumps, valves, and meters. Contractors in this classification must understand excavation, trenching, pipe laying, and safety regulations, including environmental considerations and compliance with state and federal standards. To obtain this license, applicants must meet experience requirements, pass the licensing exam, and adhere to South Carolina’s contractor regulations.

There are 50 questions in this examination given by PSI. You will need to answer 35 questions correctly in order to pass. You are allowed three hours to complete this test. You must also pass the SC Business Management & Law if you do not have such.

The Pipeline Reference Books as well as the Law book can be purchased online with a credit card.
